What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive paediatric audiology assessments, utilising a broad range of specialist tests.
- Formulate individual treatment programmes based on your expert findings.
- Provide clear reports and recommendations to healthcare teams and families.
- Stay up-to-date with current best practices and clinical conditions related to Audiology management.
- Apply knowledgeable insights about SMART for Hearing, Screening pathways, and management of referred babies.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families, simplifying complex information while providing reassurance.
- Work empathetically with patients who may lack the capacity to consent, ensuring compliance with legal frameworks.
Essential qualifications:
- HCPC Registered.
- Recent experience within paediatric audiology.
- BSc/MSc in Audiology or equivalent qualifications such as BTec (MPPM) and BAAT Parts 1 and 2 professional qualification plus RCCP Registration.
