Social Worker – Adults Community Team
Location: East Lothian
Contract: Temporary, Full-time
Pay: £40 per hour
Working Pattern: Hybrid working available | Option for flexible arrangements
Seven Resourcing are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join a dedicated Adults Community Team in East Lothian. This is a full-time temporary position offering a competitive hourly rate and flexible working options to support work-life balance.
In this role, you will support adults within the community, helping them to maintain independence, improve wellbeing, and access appropriate services through high-quality assessments and care planning.
Key Responsibilities of the Social Worker:
*Deliver high standards of social work practice within adult community services
*Undertake assessments, care planning, and reviews in line with relevant legislation and frameworks
*Work collaboratively with individuals, families, carers, and multi-agency professionals
*Promote independence, wellbeing, and person-centred outcomes
*Manage a varied caseload, ensuring accurate and timely record keeping
*Complete statutory assessments, visits, and reports
*Support safeguarding processes and risk management where required
Applicant Requirements:
*Qualified Social Worker (BA/MA/BSc/MSc in Social Work, CQSW, or DipSW)
*Registered with the SSSC
*Completed ASYE (or equivalent)
*Minimum 2 years’ post-qualifying experience within Adult Social Care
*Experience within community-based adult services
*Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain)
*Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
*Ability to work across East Lothian as required
