Job Description:
SEN Tutor (1:1) - Croydon | Qualified Teacher Required | Immediate Start
We are currently recruiting for dedicated and experienced SEN Tutors to provide 1:1 support to students in the Croydon area. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs.
Location: Croydon
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Flexible (part-time and full-time available)
Pay: £30-£35 per hour (dependent on experience)
The Role:
*Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition sessions to students with SEN
*Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs
*Build strong, supportive relationships to promote engagement and confidence
*Work closely with families, schools, and external professionals where required
Requirements:
*PGCE or QTS is essential (or a UK recognised teaching qualification)
*Experience working with students with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH)
*Strong behaviour management and communication skills
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
*Reliable, committed, and passionate about supporting vulnerable learners
