Maintenance Technician – Aberdeen (Onshore)
Salary: Around £38,000 (negotiable)
Hours: Mon–Fri, 8:30–4:30 (paid lunch)

Join a high-performing onshore team with a leading energy-sector organisation. We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician with a mechanical or hydraulic background to keep our specialist tools running smoothly. Expect a busy workshop, occasional travel for training, and plenty of opportunity to get stuck into varied technical work.
MUST be willing to work overtime — especially during busy periods.
What you’ll do:
*Carry out maintenance, repairs, redressing and fault-finding on downhole tools
*Perform electrical checks and complex testing with minimal supervision
*Support quality improvements and keep accurate records
*Assemble, prep and mobilise equipment
*Operate a forklift (training provided)
*Work safely to HSE standards
*Take part in an on-call rota and respond flexibly to operational demands
What you’ll bring:
*Strong mechanical/hydraulic skills
*Confidence using electrical testing equipment and reading wiring diagrams
*Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
*Good communication and IT skills
*A positive, team-focused attitude
*Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
*A genuine willingness to work overtime
