About Us:
We are working with a four-form entry Junior School in Barking. The school prides itself on providing a caring and friendly atmosphere. The school is looking for a classroom-based Year 3 LSA. If you would like to work in a strong, happy, family atmosphere as a Year 3 LSA, then this is the school for you! As a Year 3 LSA, you will be required to provide mainly classroom support and 1:1 support when required. The school is ideally looking for a Year 3 LSA who can be adaptable and flexible. The school is committed to the effective inclusion of all children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work as a Year 3 LSA
*Supporting young children with varying abilities
*Work with a team of adults to support all children under the guidance of the class teacher
*Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
*Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
*Previous experience working in a Primary School
*Have a basic understanding of behaviour management
*Experience working with children as a Year 3 LSA
