SF Recruitment is working with a business based in South Derbyshire who are looking to recruit a Permanent Accounts Assistant, on a full time basis to join a small close knit team.
This role is due to an internal move within the department, reporting into the Senior Accounts Assistant you will look after the following:


*Purchase and Sales Ledger - accurately processes invoices, matches purchase orders and resolves supplier queries.
*Bank reconciliation - reconciles bank statements, credit cards and cash transactions.
*Data entry - maintains accurate records on accounting software
*Assists with VAT returns, month-end reconciliations and audit preparation
*Financial Administration - handles petty cash and,manages post
*Credit control -chases overdue customer accounts
*Prepares payment runs on a weekly basis
*Takes general telephone calls, transferring these to relevant person
*Provides functional support for other departments - sales order & purchase order processing
*Carries out general administration tasks.

You will be able to demonstrate the following capabilities:

*AAT or previous accounts experience preferred
