A well-established and busy firm of Corporate Insolvency Practitioners is seeking a Bankruptcy Administrator to join its growing team. The firm handles a broad range of insolvency cases and is known for delivering a high standard of professional service across both corporate and personal insolvency matters.
The Role
As a Bankruptcy Administrator, you will support the delivery and management of a varied caseload of bankruptcy appointments. Working closely with senior staff and Insolvency Practitioners, you will ensure cases are progressed efficiently, compliantly, and in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage a portfolio of bankruptcy cases from appointment through to closure
*Prepare statutory documentation, including reports to creditors and the Insolvency Service
*Liaise with bankrupt individuals, creditors, solicitors, and other stakeholders
*Assist with asset realisations, including property and other recoveries
*Conduct investigations into the affairs of bankrupt individuals
*Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with insolvency legislation and best practice
*Support senior team members with more complex cases where required
Requirements
*Previous experience in personal insolvency, ideally with exposure to bankruptcy cases
*Strong understanding of insolvency procedures and legislation
*Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
*Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritise workload effectively
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
*Proficiency in insolvency case management systems is advantageous
