About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Internal Auditor to join a dynamic and evolving internal audit function within a large, international organisation. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of business areas, providing independent assurance and valuable insights that support effective risk management, governance, and control processes.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality audits, influencing stakeholders, and contributing to continuous improvement across the organisation.


Key Responsibilities
*Lead and deliver end-to-end internal audits, from planning through to reporting
*Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance frameworks
*Identify control weaknesses and provide practical, value-adding recommendations
*Build strong relationships with stakeholders across various business functions
*Prepare clear, concise audit reports for senior management
*Support the development and execution of the internal audit plan
*Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the audit function
*Mentor and support junior team members where appropriate


About You
*Proven experience in internal audit, external audit, or risk assurance
*Professionally qualified or working towards a qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIA or equivalent)
*Strong understanding of risk and internal control frameworks
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
*Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
*Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities
*High level of integrity and professional judgement


Desirable Experience
*Experience within a large, complex, or international organisation
*Exposure to operational, financial, and/or compliance audits
*Familiarity with data analytics tools or audit software
*Experience working in regulated environments
