Litter Picker
Location: Eastleigh
Pay rate: £12.76ph
Job Type: Full time, ongoing Working Hours: 6:15am-1:30pm Monday - Thursday, 6:15 -1:00pm Friday
Full Driving Licence Required
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Litter Picker to help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of designated public areas. This role is essential in creating a welcoming and pleasant environment for visitors by ensuring spaces remain free of litter and waste.
Key Responsibilities:
*Empty public bins in designated areas to maintain cleanliness and visual appeal
*Pick up litter and debris from around the area, including car parks and paths
*Use litter-picking equipment and machinery safely, following all safety guidelines
*Maintain a clean and organised work environment, contributing to overall site safety
*Promptly report any equipment faults or damages to reduce downtime
*Perform heavy lifting tasks safely and professionally as required
*Work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high performance
Requirements:
*Excellent levels of physical fitness
*Ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting tasks safely
*Strong attention to detail and personal responsibility
*Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently
