Job Description:
This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to start their career in IT. You will gain hands-on experience supporting and developing IT infrastructure while also contributing to data analytics and reporting within the business.
Working as part of a collaborative IT team, you’ll build a broad understanding of systems, networks, and business processes, while developing your technical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
*Support the IT team in maintaining and improving IT infrastructure and systems
*Assist with IT support queries via the helpdesk, ensuring timely resolution of issues
*Help monitor system performance and escalate issues where necessary
*Contribute to IT projects and system improvements
*Support the implementation and use of data analytics tools and reporting
*Work closely with colleagues across the business to understand and support their IT needs
*Assist in maintaining IT security standards and following company policies
*Liaise with external suppliers and support partners where required
*Keep accurate records of support requests and updates
*Take part in training and development to build technical knowledge
*Contribute to a positive, team-focused working environment
Essential:
*Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Studies, or a related field
*Strong interest in IT infrastructure, systems, and data analytics
*Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Desirable:
*Basic understanding of networks, hardware, or IT systems
*Awareness of technologies such as cloud systems or reporting tools (e.g. Power BI)
*Any internship, placement, or project experience in IT
Additional
*Location: Redditch (on-site, full-time)
*Occasional travel to other company sites is required – a full UK driving licence is essential
*This role is well suited to a local graduate looking to build a long-term career in IT
