You will be working on a major defence project as part of our Building operating unit in where you will be responsible for lead the building planning function, through all stages of the project lifecycle, through construction to final commissioning, handover and occupation, on design and build projects.
We are currently looking for a Senior Planner who will join our Building operating unit to manage and co-ordinate the production of fully integrated programmes, phase sequence plans and method statements, together with establishing a suite of associated project controls, and the monitoring and reporting against such control documents.
As the Senior Planner you will:
*Managing and co-ordinating the planning process for building & Infrastructure elements of the project, maintaining a proactive and professional service to the planning and project teams working to the guidelines of the planning and programming strategic plan.
*Contribute towards the management of the project planning / programming strategic plan.
*Assist the management team in preparation of method statements to meet the needs of the project.
*Manage the delivery and maintenance of all associated programmes as required by the project planning and programming strategic plan - Including as a minimum, the Master Integrated Programme including Design, Procurement, Construction (incl. MEP coordination with Services), Commissioning and Handover Programmes.
*Contribute towards the monitoring of progress and production of all internal and external progress reports for completion and delivery to the project leadership teams, client and other parties in a timely and professional manner.
We are looking for:
*Demonstrable experience of the successful delivering of the planning function on defence (or security) related design and build projects.
*Need to be security cleared to SC level.
*Demonstrable experience in delivering the planning function on NEC 3 & 4 forms of contracts across a range of project types and values.
*Demonstrable experience in leading the planning function on all phases of a project from design to construction and handover.
*Excellent working experience and knowledge of Primavera P6 planning software and experience in other software, such as Asta PowerProject.

This role requires a minimum level of security clearance and may also require a higher level of National Security Vetting. You should be aware that certain levels of clearance or specific projects and/or sites have UK residency requirements; and any dual or multiple nationalities must be declared. Any persons who do not fulfil these residency requirements may be unable to obtain the required level of clearance and would not be eligible to undertake this role.
