Industrial Painter / Shotblaster
We are currently recruiting an experienced Industrial Painter / Shotblaster for a site-based role in London. This is a hands-on position suited to a skilled operative who can deliver high-spec industrial coatings work with minimal supervision on a high-profile site.
The Role
You will carry out industrial blasting and painting works to specification, ensuring quality, safety and housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
Essential Experience & Skills
To be considered, you must have:
*3-5 years’ proven experience in industrial blasting and painting

*Strong experience with shot blasting

*Airless spray application and brush application

*Mixing and applying single-pack and two-pack paint systems

*Ability to achieve specified wet film thickness (WFT) and dry film thickness (DFT)

*ICATS or TTP qualifications, including blast and spray tickets

*Proficiency with airless spray equipment and blasting equipment

*Ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment such as blast pots and airless spray pumps

*A keen eye for detail with a right-first-time attitude

*Excellent housekeeping standards

*A good understanding of spoken and written English

*Strong commitment to Health & Safety procedures

Desirable (Not Essential)
*Manual handling certification

*Working at heights training

*COSHH awareness

Additional Requirements
*Able to work with minimal supervision

*Comfortable adapting to a variety of coatings, products and techniques

*Physically fit, as the role includes manual handling and lifting

*Willingness to work occasional overtime (advance notice provided)

*£27-£30 per hour, dependent on experience

*40 hours per week + OT
