Full-Time Core Subject Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Lewisham, South East London
Start Date: ASAP / Ongoing Opportunities
Contract: Full-Time, 5 Days per Week
Are you a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant with strong subject knowledge in core areas such as English, Maths, or Science? We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic LSA to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Lewisham.

The Role:
*Supporting students across KS3 and KS4 in core subjects (English, Maths, or Science)
*Working closely with teachers to deliver tailored support both in and out of the classroom
*Providing targeted interventions and 1:1 or small group support
*Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring inclusive learning
*Encouraging student engagement, confidence, and academic progress
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant in a secondary school
*Strong subject knowledge in at least one core subject (English, Maths, or Science)
*A good understanding of SEN, including strategies to support diverse learning needs
*A degree (preferred but not essential)
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
*A proactive, adaptable, and positive approach to supporting learning
