Invoicing Clerk
£27,052–£27,800 (DOE) | Full-time | Ideally 37.5 hours | Office-based
I’m supporting a well-established organisation in Kendal who are looking to add an Invoicing & Credit Control Support professional to their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative or finance support experience who enjoys being part of a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
The Role
You’ll work closely with the wider finance team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and provide hands-on support with credit control processes. This includes:
*Preparing sales invoices and supporting documentation
*Job charging and managing direct project costs
*Monitoring and tracking accrued revenue
*Supporting credit control activity and following up with internal/external stakeholders
*Ensuring compliance and accurate record-keeping across systems
*Assisting with internal and external audit requirements
*Acting as a friendly, reliable business partner to operational teams
What We’re Looking For
*Strong clerical/administrative experience, ideally within finance
*Good working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
*Familiarity with finance systems (SL7, M-Files or similar) is beneficial
*Excellent communication and follow-up skills
*A proactive, team-focused approach with great attention to detail
Salary & Hours
*£27,052–£27,800 depending on experience
*Ideally 37.5 hours per week
*Full-time, office-based
*Overtime may occasionally be required at month and year end
