Job Description:
Recruitment Solutions are working in partnership with our client, based between Bury and Rochdale. With over 50 years of experience, our client has built a strong reputation for developing long-standing relationships with businesses across the UK. We are now looking to appoint a Credit Controller who shares these values and is committed to building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
What You Can Expect as a Credit Controller:
*Salary in the region of £28,000 – £30,000
*Quarterly performance-based bonus linked to collection targets
*25 days holiday plus bank holidays
*Hybrid/flexible working available after successful completion of probation
*On-site parking, restaurant, and kitchen facilities

The Role of the Credit Controller:
You will join a small, professional credit control team and take ownership of a portfolio of customers. Building positive working relationships will be key to ensuring effective and timely collection of outstanding payments.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing an aged debt ledger, prioritising accounts for contact
*Handling and resolving customer queries that may delay payment, including liaising with external stakeholders
*Carrying out credit control activities via phone and email
*Preparing accounts for legal action, including issuing legal notices and placing accounts on stop
*Allocating and reconciling payments accurately
*Setting up new customer accounts and assigning appropriate credit limits
*Attending and contributing to month-end team meetings
Our client will be conducting face-to-face interviews at their site on the outskirts of Rochdale.
