Head of FP&A | Wilmslow (3 days) & Manchester City Centre (2 days), potential for 1 from home | Up to £85k base + Bens | PE Backed Consolidator

Axon Moore are exclusively partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed buy-and-build consolidator based in Wilmslow to appoint a Head of FP&A.

This is a pivotal role within a dynamic and rapidly scaling group, offering the opportunity to work closely with the CFO and private equity stakeholders to drive commercial insight, performance, and strategic decision-making across the business.

The Opportunity:
As Head of FP&A, you will take ownership of the group’s financial planning and analysis capability, supporting an ambitious acquisition agenda and helping to embed best-in-class processes across a multi-entity environment.
This is a highly visible role, ideal for a commercially minded finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Support CFO and Investors with strategic decision making
Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
Deliver high-quality, insightful management information to the board and investors
Partner with operational and commercial teams to drive performance
Support M&A activity, including financial modelling and integration
Develop and enhance FP&A processes, systems, and reporting capabilities
Build and lead a high-performing FP&A function

The Candidate:
Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
Proven experience in FP&A leadership roles
Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
Experience within a private equity-backed and/or buy-and-build environment is highly desirable
Commercially astute with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a high-growth environment
