SEN Teaching Assistant – Summer Term Start (13th April)
Location: SEN School (Ages 3–16) in the Lancaster area
Role: Full-Time TA, Upper KS2
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:45am–3:30pm
Start Date: 13th April, 2026
Contract: Summer Term (potential to extend for the right candidate)

A wonderful specialist school is seeking a committed, experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Upper KS2 class this Summer Term.
About the School:
This inclusive and nurturing school supports children aged 3–16 with a range of learning needs, including:
*Moderate to severe learning difficulties
*Communication challenges
*Social communication needs
All pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and classes are kept small to ensure personalised support and positive outcomes.
The Role:
You will be working in a small Upper KS2 class, supporting pupils with diverse needs to access learning, regulate emotions, and develop communication and life skills.
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:
*Experience supporting SEN learners (school or care setting)
*A reliable, positive and hard-working attitude
*Strong rapport-building skills with SEN children
*A clear DBS or willingness to obtain one before 13th April
*Full-time availability from 13th April
*A genuine passion for supporting those with additional needs
