Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
We are working with a specialist SEN school in Folkestone that supports children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and complex learning needs. The school provides a structured, nurturing environment where every pupil is encouraged to thrive both academically and emotionally.
They are now looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team.
The Role: Learning Support Assistant
*Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with ASC and complex SEN needs
*Support students with communication, emotional regulation, and social development
*Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored learning strategies
*Help manage challenging behaviour in a calm and consistent manner
*Foster a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate: Learning Support Assistant
*Experience working with children or young people with ASC and/or complex needs (school-based or transferable experience)
*A calm, patient, and resilient personality
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*Ability to remain composed in challenging situations
*A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
