Residential Conveyancing Solicitor/Fee Earner

Job Description:
You will manage a varied residential property caseload, dealing with all aspects of the conveyancing transaction.
Duties:-
• Manage a caseload of residential sale purchases and new build transaction as well as remortgages and transfers
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and related documents, providing tailored legal advice to each client.
• Conduct title checks, searches, and due diligence to identify risks and ensure compliance with property law and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise and negotiate with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors, local authorities, and other stakeholders to progress matters smoothly.
• Advise clients on legal aspects of property transactions, including mortgages, covenants, easements, SDLT, and leasehold/freehold structures.
• Ensure compliance with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) standards and adhere to anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.
• Maintain accurate and timely records on the case management system, ensuring all documentation is properly filed and deadlines are met.
• Handle completion and post-completion matters, including the transfer of funds, registration with HM Land Registry, and SDLT returns.
• Deliver a high level of client service, keeping clients informed of progress and managing expectations.
Required Qualifications:
• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Paralegal with experience in residential conveyancing.
