Job Description:
Year 5 Teacher - Newcastle-under-LymeWorking Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:15am-3:30pm
Pay: £150-£200 per day

Your New SchoolHays Education is working in partnership with a supportive and well-established primary school in Newcastle-under-Lyme. They are now seeking a committed Year 5 teacher to join their team full-time.
Your New RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons to Year 5 pupils. Your duties will include:
*Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
*Using effective assessment techniques to monitor and support pupil progress
*Establishing a positive and inclusive classroom environment
*Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
*Collaborating with colleagues, teaching assistants, and leadership teams
*Maintaining strong communication with parents and carers
*Adhering to all safeguarding policies and ensuring pupil wellbeing at all times
What You’ll Need to Succeed
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Experience within Key Stage 2 (Year 5 preferred)
*Strong classroom and behaviour management
*A proactive and enthusiastic teaching approach
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills
*Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
