Process Technician - Progress Your Manufacturing Career
Location: Devizes, Wiltshire
Salary Package: £33,000 - £36,000 DOE plus bonuses
Are you working in a production role and ready to take the next step in your career? Our client is looking for a Process Technician to join their team and play a key role in improving processes, driving efficiency, and supporting manufacturing excellence.
The Role
This is a hands-on, problem-solving role where you’ll:
*Support production by resolving process and performance issues
*Investigate root causes of problems and implement corrective actions
*Apply Lean principles and improvement tools (8D, 5Y, Ishikawa) to drive continuous improvement
*Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams
*Implement error-proofing (Poka Yoke) and process control improvements
Candidate Requirements
*Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
*Knowledge and practical use of Lean principles and continuous improvement tools
*Strong problem-solving mindset and proactive approach
*Ability to read drawings and understand process specifications
*Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team attitude
Formal qualifications (HNC, NVQ, etc.) are desirable but not essential - experience and attitude matter most.
