An exciting permanent opportunity for a full time Purchase Ledger Specialist role based in Stockport with one day working from home.

Description
*Verify and process purchase invoices in a timely manner
*Match purchase orders with invoices and resolve discrepancies
*Handle supplier queries and maintain positive supplier relationships
*Ensure timely payment of invoices and prepare payment runs
*Assist in month-end reconciliations and reporting tasks
*Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
*Support the finance team with ad-hoc duties as required
Profile
A successful Purchase Ledger should have:
*Previous experience in a purchase ledger or similar role within accounting & finance.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
*The ability to handle high volumes of transactions with accuracy.
*Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
