This is a rare opportunity to join a specialist conveyancing business in a fully remote and flexible capacity, providing support to the wider team during periods of annual leave and absence.
The role
The firm is looking for an experienced Conveyancer to provide support across the team rather than managing a fixed personal caseload. You will step in to take over files at various stages, ensuring continuity of service while maintaining the firm’s high standards of client care.
This position would suit a confident conveyancer who can quickly get up to speed on new matters, work independently and adapt to changing priorities and timeframes.
The work will primarily focus on freehold residential sales and purchases, with exposure to other transaction types where required.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing residential conveyancing files during periods of staff absence or annual leave
*Progressing freehold sales and purchase transactions efficiently and accurately
*Reviewing files at different stages and ensuring smooth transitions
*Communicating professionally with clients, agents, lenders and third parties
*Maintaining compliance with regulatory and internal procedures
*Collaborating with the wider team to deliver a consistent and high quality service
About you
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
*A minimum of two years’ experience handling a full residential conveyancing caseload
*Strong experience in freehold sales and purchases
*The ability to manage files independently with minimal supervision
*Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
*Clear and professional communication skills with a client focused approach
*The ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a remote environment
Experience in leasehold or new build transactions would be beneficial, although not essential, as training and support can be provided.
