Accounts Assistant


Location: Gloucester - Hybrid working 3 days onsite
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum




Our client, a leading organisation in the manufacturing sector, is hiring an Accounts Assistant to support day-to-day finance operations and contribute to the smooth running of the finance function.
This role offers the opportunity to develop your accounting experience within a fast-paced, commercially focused environment, with exposure to a wide range of finance activities.


What you’ll do


*Process purchase and sales invoices accurately
*Support bank reconciliations and cash allocation
*Assist with month-end tasks and reporting
*Manage supplier queries and maintain strong relationships
*Provide general support across the finance team
*

You’ll work closely with finance colleagues and operational teams to ensure financial processes run efficiently and accurately.


What we’re looking for


*Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar role
*Backgrounds in manufacturing, engineering, or retail environments considered
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Confident using finance systems and Excel
*Good communication skills and a proactive approach
