Orka Financial is partnering with a leading business based in Andover who are looking to recruit an Assistant Financial Accountant to join their clients established finance team. You’ll support the month-end close across multiple entities.

Key Duties*Support month-end close across multiple entities
*Prepare and post journals, including accruals and prepayments
*Maintain the fixed asset register and run monthly depreciation
*Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
*Deliver accurate monthly reporting within group deadlines
*Assist with VAT returns
*Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements
*Support year-end audits, liaising with external auditors
*Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function
Experience
*Proven knowledge of supporting a finance team
*Studying a professional accounting qualification AAT/ACCA/CIMA
*Intermediate EXCEL skills
Salary up to £35,000 depending upon experience (Hybrid working model)
