Programme Manager – Arts & Curatorial Development (Part-Time)Location: London (King’s Cross)
Salary: £36,400 per annum (pro rata)
Contract Type: Fixed-term (until August 2027)
Working Pattern: Part-time (17.5 hours per week)
OverviewOur client, a leading national charity within the arts and cultural sector, is seeking a Programme Manager to support the delivery of a high-impact, multi-year initiative focused on advancing curatorial careers and promoting greater equity within the museum and gallery sector.
This programme is designed to accelerate the careers of underrepresented curators while driving meaningful organisational change across the UK cultural landscape. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the programme is delivered effectively, supporting participants and partners, and contributing to long-term sector development.
This is an excellent opportunity for a project or programme professional with experience in the arts, culture, or non-profit sector, and a strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, and social impact.
Responsibilities*Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of a national curatorial development programme
*Support programme participants (fellows) and partner organisations
*Organise and manage programme events, workshops, and communications
*Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the museum and gallery sector
*Monitor programme progress and contribute to evaluation and impact reporting
*Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth programme delivery
*Support strategic development and continuous improvement of the programme
Requirements*Proven experience in programme or project management, ideally within the arts, cultural, or charity sector
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
*Experience coordinating events, partnerships, or stakeholder engagement initiatives
*Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
*Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
*Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners
