OverviewOur client, a leading organisation within the arts and cultural sector, is seeking a Development Manager (Fundraising) to join its Development team. This role is central to delivering ambitious fundraising targets that support the organisation’s mission to champion creative talent and deliver impactful cultural experiences.
This is an excellent opportunity for a fundraising professional to manage a diverse portfolio of income streams while contributing to long-term strategic growth. The position offers flexibility to shape the role around individual strengths and interests across key fundraising areas.
Responsibilities*Develop and manage fundraising relationships across multiple income streams, including:
*High-value individual donors
*Corporate partnerships
*Trusts and foundations
*Lead on the creation of compelling funding applications, proposals, and campaigns
*Steward and grow relationships with key stakeholders and funding partners
*Support the delivery of fundraising strategies and long-term income targets
*Collaborate closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
*Line manage and support members of the Development team
*Contribute to innovative fundraising initiatives and opportunities
Requirements*Proven experience in fundraising, including writing successful funding proposals and pitches
*Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders, donors, or corporate partners
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation abilities
*Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
*Experience working within a fast-paced, target-driven environment
*A collaborative approach and ability to work across multiple departments
