Monday – Friday: 7.30am – 4pm with a half day every Friday!

You’ll be joining a close-knit team within a critical inspection function, where your work directly contributes to the quality and safety of complex engineered components.


THE ROLE
As a Trainee X-Ray Operator, you will be trained in non-destructive testing techniques, working with specialist equipment to inspect components and ensure they meet strict quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting radiographic inspection processes using approved techniques
* Learning how to interpret and assess inspection results accurately
* Identifying defects or irregularities and escalating where required
* Working closely with production teams to resolve quality issues
* Maintaining strict adherence to safety and compliance standards
* Ensuring all processes are followed with precision and consistency
Full training will be provided, including working towards industry-recognised NDT certification.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
* Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
* A technical mindset – engineering, mechanical or quality-based exposure is ideal
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
* Reliable, hardworking and keen to learn
* A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in engineering
Any exposure to engineering qualifications (NVQ, BTEC, apprenticeship etc.) would be advantageous but not essential.
