Secretary/Administrator Role
*Annual Salary: £25k - £30k
*Location: Sutton
*Job Type: Full-time, Office-based
We are seeking a dedicated Secretary/Administrator to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth operations within our office, particularly in supporting both office and site staff in a construction-related environment. The ideal candidate will have a professional phone etiquette, strong organisational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Manage professional phone communications within the office.
*Compile weekly timesheets and support the accounts office.
*Work independently and collaboratively in a busy environment.
*Archive files and maintain meticulous records.
*Organise and maintain records related to construction organisations such as CHAS/Safecontractor, DBS, etc.
*Provide comprehensive support to office and site staff, including raising POs and producing O&M’s, H&S documents.
*Assist in purchasing supplies for the office and company apparel.
*Ensure effective multitasking across various administrative tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience within an office environment; experience in a construction-related office is advantageous.
*High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*Good interpersonal skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
*Strong written communication skills.
*Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with precision.
