Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Synergy Care and Education Nursing Team and support our clients in and around Camborne, we also have a client seeking night cover in Hayle.If you join our team you will have access to our app and all available Nursing shifts across Cornwall.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care, demonstrating excellent clinical skills and a thorough understanding of anatomy and medication administration. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and ensuring the delivery of effective treatments.
Responsibilities
*Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health status and document findings accurately.
*Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans based on patient needs.
*Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
*Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes in condition to the appropriate medical staff.
*Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options.
*Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care and improve patient outcomes.
*Maintain accurate records of patient care activities in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
*Uphold infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
*Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
*Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably within a hospital or healthcare facility.
*Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology related to medication administration.
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
*Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
*A compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on empathy and respect for individual needs.
