Job Title: Laboratory Assistant - Compounder
Location: Northampton
Contract: Temporary
Hours: Monday to Friday (9-5.30)
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Temporary Compounder to join a key clients production team. In this role, you will work with a variety of raw materials to support the manufacturing of high-quality products. This position is ideal for someone with good attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow processes safely and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
*Accurately weigh, measure, and prepare raw materials according to production requirements
*Follow written formulas and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
*Operate mixing and blending equipment safely
*Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
*Complete batch records and documentation to required standards
*Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth workflow
*Adhere to all health & safety guidelines, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment
What We’re Looking For
*Previous experience in a manufacturing, chemical, or food production environment (preferred but not essential)
*Ability to follow instructions with strong attention to detail
*Comfortable handling raw materials and working in a fast-paced environment
*Good communication and teamwork skills
*A positive attitude and willingness to learn
