Job Title: Business Lecturer
Location: West London
Working Pattern: Full-Time or Part-Time
Pay Rate: £40/hr
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a passionate and experienced Business Lecturer to join a reputable college in West London on either a full-time or part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire learners pursuing qualifications in Business and related disciplines.
Key Responsibilities*Deliver high-quality teaching across Business courses (e.g., BTEC, A-Level Business, T Levels, or other vocational/business-related qualifications)
*Plan engaging and interactive lessons aligned with curriculum and awarding body requirements
*Support learners in developing knowledge across key business areas such as marketing, finance, management, and entrepreneurship
*Assess, mark, and provide constructive feedback on assignments and coursework
*Monitor learner progress and implement targeted support where required
*Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and achievement
*Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes
*Support learners in progressing to employment, apprenticeships, or higher education in business-related fields
Requirements*Relevant qualification in Business, Management, or a related field (Degree preferred)
*Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one
*Experience teaching Business in a Further Education or similar setting
*Strong subject knowledge across core business disciplines
*Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
*Ability to motivate and support learners from a range of backgrounds
*Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
