You’ll sit at the heart of the finance team, supporting everything from month-end close to forecasting, cashflow, and performance insight. This isn’t a siloed role, you’ll be working closely with stakeholders across the business, helping turn data into decisions.
What will you be doing?
*Owning key parts of the month-end close and management accounts process
*Reconciling balance sheet accounts with precision (and pride)
*Producing accurate, timely reporting in line with group deadlines
*Building and maintaining cashflow forecasts that people actually trust
*Supporting audit, VAT, and tax processes when needed
*Getting involved in budgeting and forecasting and not just compiling numbers, but understanding them
*Partnering with stakeholders to bring financial and non-financial data together
*Supporting supplier payments and day-to-day finance operations
*Spotting inefficiencies and improving processes (because "we’ve always done it this way" isn’t good enough)
What do you need?
*Experience in an accounting role and ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified
*Strong Excel skills (you’re comfortable, not cautious)
*High attention to detail - you notice what others miss
*Confidence to communicate with people at all levels
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
*A team player who actually enjoys being part of a team
