Mapped Recruitment is delighted to be working with a renewable energy developer that, since launching over 5 years ago, has experienced growth across the UK.
Due to internal movement, they are now looking for a Finance Operations Manager to join their team. This role will be well-suited to an ambitious Finance professional who already has solid practical finance experience and is interested in working in a close-knit team, with the opportunity to report directly to the founder level to grow and gain more exposure. Candidates who are willing to support across ad hoc operational duties (HR, legal, compliance) will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
*Full bookkeeping duties, including intercompany accounts via Xero (invoicing, VAT, payroll, management accounts, tax)
*Assisting with budgeting vs actuals on projects.
*Display financial information which is meaningful, insightful and improves decision-making
*Model the financial impact of different business objectives
*Multi-entity and Intercompany loan tracking
*Operations: Owning core HR functions, including onboarding, contract management
*Ad hoc project work: Look into system efficiencies of Xero and build systems that allow for efficient accounting processes
Key Requirements:
*Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance role covering a range of accounting duties - experience working within a project-based environment will be beneficial but not essential
*ACCA/CIMA/ACA part-qualified or equivalent experience
*Xero & Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookups, etc)
*Exceptional communication skills
*Willingness to work in a standalone finance role reporting to the Founder level, with an aptitude to cover Finance and Operational duties.
