Job Description:
The Property Accounts Assistant will play a key role in supporting the accounting and finance department within the property industry. This permanent position in Chertsey offers an excellent opportunity to work in a hybrid setting with a competitive salary.

Description
*Prepare and manage financial records related to property transactions.
*Assist with client account reconciliations and ensure accuracy in reporting.
*Process invoices and payments in a timely and efficient manner.
*Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
*Handle queries from clients and tenants, providing clear and professional responses.
*Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the property portfolio.
*Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
*Collaborate with the wider accounting and finance team to streamline processes.
*Managing and maintaining service charge accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with RICS regulations
*Prepare and review service charge budgets
*Producing client statements and any additional reports required
*VAT reporting
*Collaborate with property management team to resolve accounts queries
*Liaise with external accountants on production of year end accounts where necessary
*Assisting with the company accounts
Profile
A successful Property Accounts Assistant should have:
*Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
*Experience working within the property industry or a related field.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
*Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Studying towards or have completed AAT qualification
