GPN Recruitment are working with a highly regarded mid-tier accountancy firm in London who are looking for an experienced Audit Senior to join them on a temporary basis.


This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to a specialist financial services portfolio, supporting a well-established team during a busy period. While banking experience is advantageous, the firm is open to candidates with broader financial services audit experience.


Key Responsibilities:


*Leading and delivering audit assignments across a financial services client base
*Reviewing work completed by junior staff and providing guidance where needed
*Liaising directly with clients and acting as a key point of contact on engagements
*Working closely with Managers and Partners
*Ensuring audits are completed efficiently and to a high standard within tight deadlines


Qualifications and Skills:


*Fully qualified ACA / ACCA (or equivalent)
*Strong external audit experience within financial services in a UK accountancy firm
*Exposure to banking clients is beneficial but not essential
*Confident leading audits from planning to completion and managing client relationships
*Able to start at short notice / immediately available
