About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver (Driver Level 1) to join the Waste team in Shaftesbury.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving a 3.5T vehicle and assisting with the delivery of waste bins across the local area. You will work as part of a team to provide an essential service to the community, ensuring high standards of safety, efficiency, and customer care at all times.
Key Responsibilities
*Safely operate a 3.5T vehicle
*Deliver waste bins to residential and commercial properties
*Assist with loading and unloading as required
*Work collaboratively with your crew to complete daily routes
*Follow all health and safety guidelines
*Provide a professional and courteous service to the public
Requirements
Essential:
*Full UK driving licence
*Good understanding of health and safety practices
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team
*Reliable and able to follow instructions
Desirable:
*Previous experience in waste management or a similar driving role
*Knowledge of Dorset and surrounding areas
*Manual handling training
Working Hours
*Up to 37 hours per week
*Monday to Friday
*06:00 - 14:00
