Customer Service ExecutiveChelmsford, Essex
Salary: Up to £27,000 + Bonus Scheme
Hours: Full Time (Two-week rota) – No weekends
Requirement: Must drive due to location
The OpportunityA fast-growing retailer specialising in home and industrial products is seeking an experienced Customer Service Executive to join their friendly, supportive team.
This role suits someone confident handling product-related enquiries, resolving delivery issues, and managing customer complaints with professionalism and care. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a calm approach are essential.
Key Requirements*Excellent verbal and written communication
*Previous customer service experience within an online product retailer
*Experienced dealing with couriers, damages, delivery delays, and replacements
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
*Confident, patient, and professional
*Computer literate
*Able to work independently and within a team
*Ideally located within 10–15 miles of Writtle
*Must hold a full UK driving licence
Role Responsibilities*Provide high-quality customer service via phone, email, and live chat
*Support customers with enquiries about physical storage products
*Accurately process telephone orders
*Investigate and resolve delivery issues such as damages, defects, and missing items
*Handle complaints professionally with clear, fair resolutions
*Liaise with couriers and internal teams to resolve customer issues
*Carry out general administrative tasks
*Build strong product knowledge
Working HoursTwo-week rotating schedule:
Week 1
*Monday: 7:30am–5pm
*Tuesday–Thursday: 8am–5pm
*Friday: 8am–4:30pm
Week 2
*Monday: 8am–5:30pm
*Tuesday–Thursday: 8:30am–5:30pm
*Friday: 8am–4:30pm
No weekends
