Teaching Assistant – Special Educational Needs (SEN) Location: Chelmsford
Hours: 08:40 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday FULL TIME
Pay: £14.00 – £15.00 per hour
Start Date: Immediate / Flexible
Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) A specialist school in Chelmsford is seeking a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join their team, working with pupils who have a range of complex needs.
About the Role:
Support students with SEN, including autism, communication difficulties, and physical or cognitive challenges.
Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning plans.
Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Use creative and adaptive strategies to support student progress and wellbeing.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in education or care settings).
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
