A forward-thinking, employee-owned engineering consultancy is seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to help lead and grow their Birmingham infrastructure team.
This role suits a senior-level engineer who’s confident managing multiple schemes, building client relationships, and steering a small team through planning, design and technical approval stages.
Where you’ll make an impact
Leading multiple residential infrastructure projects simultaneously
Overseeing technical delivery and ensuring quality across the team
Managing project budgets, fees and invoicing
Developing and reviewing drainage designs, highway layouts, levels and earthworks
Preparing planning and technical submissions (S38/S278/S104)
Guiding, mentoring and developing junior engineers
Acting as a key technical contact for clients and stakeholders
What you’ll bring
Proven senior/associate-level background in development infrastructure
Proficiency with AutoCAD, PDS and Flow
Strong knowledge of UK drainage, flood risk and planning frameworks
Ability to manage teams, resources and client relationships
