Job Description:
General Support Teaching Assistant
Location: Central Leeds
Full-Time | Long-Term Role
Aspire People is currently seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support a vibrant and welcoming primary school after the Easter break. This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone with proven experience, or aspiring teachers who wish to work in a primary school before pursuing their teacher training.
The Role:
* Support across KS2 classes, working alongside class teachers to deliver high-quality learning.
* Deliver targeted intervention sessions outside of the classroom, helping to raise attainment.
* Full-time position, with the potential to become a permanent post for the right candidate.
* A trial day will be offered for shortlisted applicants.
* SEN experience is desirable
You will need:
* A degree in children related subjects.
* Recent, relevant experience in Upper Key Stage 2 is ideal.
* Confidence delivering intervention work to small groups.
* A proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for education.
