We are working with a Freeholder client for an inhouse legal position. You’ll take ownership of cases from start to finish, representing the business in tribunal and court proceedings while also acting as a key point of contact for internal teams on legal matters. Alongside this, you’ll play a part in supporting the business through ongoing legislative changes, helping ensure the wider team is informed, prepared, and operating in line with current requirements.
The Role
*Manage a caseload of property related disputes, representing the Freeholder interests at First Tier Tribunal applications. Including attending hearings.
*Prepare and submit applications, responses, and supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines
*Liaise with external solicitors and counsel where appropriate
*Interpreting and advising on upcoming legislative changes impacting the business.
*Assist in developing internal legal guidance and best practice
The Person
*Experience handling residential property disputes, including First Tier Tribunal matters
*Strong understanding of litigation processes, including small claims and County Court procedures
*Confident preparing legal documentation and managing cases through to resolution


Desirable Experience
*Qualified Legal Executive or Solicitor
*Exposure to leasehold property management or related sector
