Location: Havering, East London
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Permanent
Salary:Outer London Pay Scale (£36,413 – £53,994) (MPS/UPS)
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Havering from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive department committed to delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons.
The Role
*Teach Religious Education across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
*Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons
*Monitor student progress and support achievement
*Contribute to curriculum planning within the department
*Promote inclusive discussion and critical thinking skills
Requirements
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Experience teaching RE within a secondary school setting
*Strong classroom management skills
*Passion for teaching and learning
*Right to work in the UK
