Payroll Administrator
Full Time - Perm Opportunity - 40Hrs
£30-£35K DOE + Benefits & Bonuses
Derbyshire Based, Hybrid Working
We’re looking for an experienced payroll professional to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll oversee and process a variety of payroll activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and great service for a broad client base.
Responsibilities:
*Review and validate team members’ work and support complex cases.
*Approve system/data amendments and maintain accurate records.
*Update process documentation and assist with training.
*Run automated payroll calculations, including periodic and year-end runs.
*Support projects and liaise with clients/external organisations on pension queries.
*Produce reports, statistics and SLA updates.
*Provide cover for finance tasks such as payment processing, reconciliations and accounting entries.
*Assist other pension administration teams as needed.
About You:
*Experience in finance, payroll or pension administration.
*Strong analytical, process and IT skills (Excel essential).
*Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills.
*Able to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
*Positive, professional attitude.
*Strong Maths/English skills and payroll qualifications preferred.
