Job Description:
Class 1 Driver (4 on 4 off) – Newton Aycliffe
Velocity recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (HGV C+E) Driver on behalf of our client based in Newton Aycliffe. This is an excellent opportunity offering a temp-to-perm position after 12 weeks for the right candidate.
The Role:
*4 on 4 off shift pattern
*Average 12-hour shifts
*Start times available between:
*16:00 – 18:00
*00:00 – 02:00
*Collecting loaded trailers from Warrington
*Delivering to retail stores
*Involves cage work and some handball
Pay Rate:
*£202.98 per shift
Requirements:
*Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence held for minimum 1 year
*Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
*Previous experience in a similar role preferred
*Comfortable with physical work including handball
