Job Description:
Reed Business Support are recruiting for a Customer Relationship Manager on behalf of our valued client.
This Customer Relationship Manager opportunity is ideal for an individual who is confident, proactive, and able to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment. As the appointed Customer Relationship Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the wider regional team and contributing to the smooth running of daily operations while delivering exceptional service to schools across the South of England.
About the Role• Managing and nurturing a defined portfolio of school customers, acting as their key point of contact
• Supporting retention, contract security, and incremental growth in line with regional targets
• Executing structured contact plans, renewal preparation and data-led exit strategies
• Monitoring account performance to identify risks, trends, and opportunities
• Collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver seamless customer service
• Maintaining accurate customer data, records, and documentation
• Ensuring any service issues are resolved promptly and professionally
• Contributing to a positive, high-performing regional team culture
About You• Experience within account management, customer success, or relationship management (education sector desirable)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust quickly
• Highly organised, disciplined, and proactive in planning and prioritising
• Confident interpreting data and translating insight into action
• Strong problem-solver with the ability to resolve challenges calmly and professionally
• Collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM/database systems
• Motivated by customer satisfaction, retention, and service excellence
