Our client has been established within the Freight Forwarding industry for many years and handles imports and exports via Air, Sea, Road & Rail freight. They are currently looking for an Export Coordinator to work at their office based in Tilbury. The role will be working within the Export operations department and will be reporting to the Export Manager.
Purpose of the role:
To provide a smooth operations support on both Air and Sea freight Exports from start to finish.
Duties will include:
*Arranging bookings with lines and carriers.
*Liaising with overseas agents
*Arranging collections making sure to meet vessel/ flight deadlines
*Communicating with customers, hauliers and carriers.
*Completing customs entries.
*Raising export documentation and manifests.
*Checking with warehouses that goods have been checked and ready.
*Dealing with all export documentation
*Checking vessels/flights have been met.
*Invoicing out
*Dealing with any queries or problems that may arise.
*Sending pre alerts to overseas agents.
*Following up after delivery to ensure the customer was completely satisfied.
Experience required:
The client is looking for someone with approx 2 years experience within a similar role and a good knowledge of working with CNS and Destin8.
Experience in completing customs declarations and entries is essential
Must have Ocean freight Exports experience with a good level of education who can communicate effectively both written and verbally.
Salary to £30/37k
Office hours are Monday to Friday 9/5pm
