Hotel Housekeeper
*Job Type: Temporary start asap
*Location: Broadview Hotel, UEA
*Working Hours: 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM
*Dress Code: Company-provided top and tabard; own black trousers/jeans and trainers required
Join the vibrant housekeeping team at this busy hotel. A bustling hotel with 98 rooms which has a summer expansion to accommodate 1500 rooms, including student accommodations.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Efficiently clean and prepare hotel rooms to a high standard within a 30-minute timeframe, handling 6-7 rooms daily.
*Responsible for the cleanliness of public areas, including stairwells, glass surfaces, kitchens, and doors.
*Ensure all rooms are equipped with necessary towels and bedding and are presented impeccably.
*Work closely with the housekeeping team to manage supplies and maintain equipment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*A keen eye for detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
*Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning is preferred but not essential.
*Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
*Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to reach, kneel, and bend.
*Interview process will include a practical test of cleaning a room to assess skills and speed.
