Job Opportunity: 360 Excavator Operator (Civils/Housing)Location: Darlington, County Durham
Rate: £22 per hour CIS
Duration: Ongoing Long-term Contract
We are looking for an experienced and reliable 360 Excavator Operator to join a fast-paced civils team on a major residential housing development in the Darlington area. If you’re a skilled operator who takes pride in a tidy site and precise work, we want to hear from you.
The RoleWorking as part of a groundworks gang, your primary responsibilities will include:
*Deep Drainage: Excavating trenches for foul and surface water systems.
*Foundations: Digging out footings and pads to exact specifications.
*Roads & Sewers: Assisting with the initial infrastructure and highway works.
*Grading: Finishing works, including battering and leveling.
*Safety: Adhering to strict site health and safety protocols at all times.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have:
*Valid CPCS or NPORS Card (Above and Below 10 Tonne).
*Lifting Ops endorsement (preferred).
*Proven Experience specifically on housing sites and civil engineering projects.
*Full PPE and the ability to provide recent work references.
*A "muck in" attitude-while your primary job is operating, a willingness to assist the groundworkers when necessary is highly valued.
