The Company;
MTrec are currently recruiting for a prestigious manufacturing company based in the Durham area.
The Role;
*Cutting, stripping, and preparing wires to specification
*Crimping and assembling components using hand tools such as wire cutters
*Inserting wires into cable heads accurately and efficiently
*Operating air tools to seal cable casings
*Carrying out dexterous assembly work with a high level of precision
*Conducting quality inspections to ensure products meet required standards
*Following all health and safety guidelines and procedures
*Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
The Person;
*Good attitude towards work and always looking to learn
*Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a similar role is desirable but not essential
*Experience using hand tools
*Physically fit, can be standing at workbenches for majority of shift
*Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
*Ability to follow instructions and technical specifications
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Positive attitude and willingness to learn
